It's been a while since I have gone out to a big Halloween party, and I am going to a party dressed as Cruella DeVille. I found a black faux fur coat that I am spray painting white spots on and rocking black and white polka dotted false eyelashes! I will have to upload a photo to show you all

Taking my family trick or treating then attending a haunted house party!
Last night, we were in our local Halloween parade, collecting food for the needy.
Tonight, we'll be trick-or-treating in our townhouse neighborhood. They go "all out". My boys will be: an executioner (the 12 year old) and a ninja (the 10 year old). Then, we be going to friends we have who are having a "haunted house".

A friend from work is having a pre-party and then we are hitting the bars! I love Halloween!! I can't wait to check out everyone else's costume.

What is a holiday that is celebrated in your country that isn't recognized in the US?
probably 'midsommar' I don't really know why we celebrate it but we do. It's nothing special just family and friends getting together and eat, sing some weird songs and a weird thing called 'midsommarstång'
We also have a thing we call 'knut' here. on january 13th kids dress up and go around and ask for candy
